Re-Thinking It All

Human morality is not God's morality because God cannot be reduced to human thinking. Consequently, we can never know if human morality follows God's intention. Human morality is flawed, incomplete, and uncertain. Because we can never know if human decisions about morality are God's, we must do our best based on human reason and compassion to figure out what is moral. Those who justify morality based on their interpretation of God are no different than those that justify killing on the basis of their interpretation of God. Revelation is hence fraught with dilemmas.
